

Unit 7: Diversity

A diverse classroom is comprised of children with varying developmental levels in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical abilities,
which must be addressed by early childhood professionals to insure success for all students.
Unit 8: Classroom Management

Efficient classroom management creates an environment that promotes learning and enables teachers to use a variety of
instructional methods.
Unit 9: Roles of the Early Childhood Professions

An early childhood employee must establish a safe environment, promote learning, guide pro-social behavior, and
communicate with stakeholders.
Unit 10: Early Childhood Regulations

Each state has rules and regulations required for licensing that must be acknowledged and followed by administration,
teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff at schools.
Unit 11: Classroom Community


Unit 14: Lesson Planning

State learning standards are the foundation from which to build effective, engaging lesson plans following a sequential series
of components.
Unit 15: Instructional Technology

