Part 1: Building a House Worksheet (35 points)



Measure each piece of the house to the nearest INCH.
Find the area of each.
Find the Total Surface Area of the house.
Part 2: Building the House (15 points)



Decide on a color scheme for the house. Decide which colors you would like for the roof, and the
sides of the house. Think about how to decorate the doors and windows. Color all the pieces before
you cut them out!!
As you are coloring the pieces, feel free to add additional creative components that would enhance
the look of your house.
Assemble the House carefully using tape to hold your pieces together.
