To Whom This May Concern:
Hello, I am Sheridan. I have always loved eating at Applebee’s. It has been my favorite
restaurant since I was little. It has always had amazing food and outstanding service.
Never have I had to wait more than thirty minutes for a meal; I have never even had a
rude waiter. Unfortunately, when I went there last weekend with my family that was not
the case.
My family and I went to Applebee’s for my sister’s birthday, because it is her all time
favorite place to go. To our surprise, it took nearly an hour to be seated, when the place
was not even half full. Finally, a waiter came to seat us. He was obviously not in a good
mood, because every time we asked him for something he would roll his eyes. When he
got our drinks he only got one right, and when he brought out our food the order was all
wrong. When we told him what he brought was not even close to what we ordered he
refused to get us something new because he thought we were lying. Finally, we left. It
was a waste of time and money.
There is really only one solution to this problem. I do not want you to fire your workers; I
simply ask that you train them to use a notepad when taking orders. They also need to
have more respect for their costumers. Lastly, I suggest you train them to be more kind
and happy. No one wants to be helped by someone rude and unhelpful. Thank you for
