German Honor Society
2013-2014
The mission of the German Honor Society is to:
expand and improve your knowledge of German language and culture
promote and celebrate German culture
promote understanding and peaceful coexistence between other peoples and cultures
The requirements for membership in the German Honor Society are:
being in your second year of German
having at least an “A-“ in the German you’ve taken so far
having an overall GPA of at least a “B+”.
The German Honor Society will meet on the third Monday of each month:
September 23
October 21
November 18
December 16
January 27
February 24
March 17
April 28
May 19
Students must also perform at least one day of service per month on a Monday, Wednesday, or
Thursday of their choice.
We will also fundraise and perform community service throughout the year.
Students may also sign up to tutor other German students.
