North Hunterdon High School
Our goal for eighth grade students is to begin orientation to North Hunterdon High School
through the following activities:
• 8th grade parent night
• Individual parent meetings regarding scheduling and course requests
• Appropriate placement with regard to potential for academic success in each subject
area
• Selection of electives based on individual student’s interests
• Online power points
• Online podcasts
• Foreign language presentation
• Individuals’ potential issues are identified for follow-up by means of counselor visits in
the spring
• Ongoing articulation between North Hunterdon and all sending districts regarding all
departments
