1. Go to Humansofnewyork.com. 2. Click on the "about" tab on the website and follow along as we read the section. 3. Listen to the UN tour announcement. 4. Go to http://www.un.org/millenniumgoals/ in another tab to via the Millennium Development Goals. 5. Go back to Humansofnewyork.com. Scroll through the photos. Find a photo with a quote you like. Copy and and paste the quote into Pages, Notability, or another writing app. This quote must reflect or show someone's suffering. After finding a photograph, you will write a letter to the subject of the photo (the person in the picture). In the letter, you can write any or all of the following: your thoughts about the person, your feelings towards her situation, things you have learned about his struggle, or ways you think he can be helped. You can also share a story of your own, even if it is somewhat random or unrelated. When writing this, consider how you would feel in her situation, and what you'd say to that person if you met.
