Using the given triangles, construct each of the four triangle centers listed below, in any order. Leave all
pencil construction marks. Mark the center point with pen/crayon/highlighter… be creative! Using
creativity, display each triangle on the given construction paper.





**For the Incenter & Circumcenter, you must construct the corresponding circles as well!
Requirements for each triangle:




Title each triangle with the center name.
Label the triangle & the center point with letters of your choosing.
Below the triangle, describe the center point with how it is created and where it is located in
your triangle.
- Example: “The ________ is created from the intersection of the ____________________.
It is located _________________ of any/acute/right triangle(s).”
For the Incenter & Circumcenter, construct the corresponding circles as well.
Scoring Samples:
49 Points: All triangles are constructed correctly, labeled and displayed nicely on construction paper.
Design of project is excellent and is visually appealing with proper descriptions and use of colors.
45 Points: All triangles are constructed correctly with only slight construction inconsistencies, mostly
labeled and displayed nicely on construction paper. Design of project is good and is visually
appealing with descriptions and use of colors.
40 Points: Significant portions of the project are unclear of inaccurate. The design and display is
lacking effort.
35 Points: Major elements of the project are unclear or inaccurate.
