Calculate your % error based on it being a penta hydrate 2) Lab 7, Sodiumhydrogencarbonate and HCl: a. Write your calculations of theoretical yield of salt . b. Write verbal explanations, write a short introduction explaining the phases of each product (why was carbondioxide a gas, water boiled off and NaCl did not evaporate). c. Calculate your % error based your yield of salt compared to what you calculated. d. Draw the dot structure of each product and explain its ionic character, bonding, type of compound and properties. 3) LAB 8 a. Write an explained calculation of your MgO formula. Calculate % error based on the formula being MgO. 4) Lab 9 COOLING CURVE a. Plot your curves; compare them to the freezing/melting point curves from your notes. b.
