revealed God’s truth.
These became the official canon of the
Roman Catholic Church
To help apply what we learn from the Scripture to our
own lives, we approach the text from 3 perspectives:

Inspirational: Using scripture for prayer and
enlightenment to help us live faithfully.
Historical: Using the strong historical significance
of God’s people who were reflecting the culture
and experience of their time.
Theological: Using the specific doctrinal teaching
and moral position to help us live and act justly.
