DHOTI SCHEME RESTORED ON OPPOSITION DEMAND.
Chennai : Jan 7, The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) president, M. Karunanidhi today said the state
government had decided to restore the free saree-dhoti scheme because of the demand raised by
opposition parties including DMK.
In reply to questions, he said the revival of the scheme was not sufficient to alleviate the suffering
