RESEARCH
Research at the Faculty is conducted in the areas of Sports
Sciences and Educational Sciences. It is in a process of
continuous growth and development.
- The point of departure for research in Sports Sciences is that
societal aspects such as gender, class and cultural diversity have
an impact on sports just as sports have an impact on society
- The research environment of Educational Sciences is
multidisciplinary and focused on actual practices. It consists of the
following areas: the organisation and professions of the
educational system, the content and teaching of different
programmes of study, and the life situations and processes of
identity formation of children and youth. The different areas are
studied in relation to economic, social, technological, linguistic and
cultural change.
