Instructions for applicants
This form should be used only by applicants for the following awards offered by King's
College London:
•Schilizzi Scholarships (for students resident in Greece)
Please see the relevant page on the web for information relating to the scholarship, as this
has essential information about the eligibility and selection criteria for the award/s you are
interested in, whether you need to submit any additional documentation with this
application form, and most importantly of all, the deadline by which you must ensure your
application is received by the relevant awards panel. You may wish to also consult the
Schilizzi Foundation website for background information about the Foundation at
www.schilizzifoundation.org.uk. Please note that you must send your completed
application to the address indicated on the relevant information sheet.
In all cases, you should not submit your scholarship application until you have received an
offer of a place of study at the College. You should submit one application only.
This application form, together with documents relating to your course application, will
enable the awards panel for each scholarship to decide on the most deserving candidates.
The awards panels will consider and evaluate your academic achievements to date, your
personal statement and, where appropriate, your financial means to reach their decision.
There is no need to submit any additional information with your application other than
transcripts of any examination results you have received since making your application for
admissions to the College, unless specifically requested in the information sheet for the
scholarship for which you are applying. Other transcripts, references and other information
in support of your programme application will be requested for the appropriate academic
department at King's.
