Facilities Master Plan Meeting with Steinberg Architects Tom gave an overview of the meeting with Steinberg Architects B. Crosswalk Tom presented a plan to the committee to install the crosswalk at Bernard Drive and Glacier Drive Crosswalk scheduled to be completed by end of May 2016 C. Gym needs new permanent sign (Kinesiology to replace Physical Education on the Northeast side) Committee recommended to make the signs the same “Kinesiology” D. Signage for CLC Bldg Still in discussion E. Water Fill Stations New water fill stations will be installed in the Student center by the end of May 2016 as a test run. If the test run is successful, additional water fill stations will be installed on the other campuses (TCI, CLC, SEC) F. Removal of ash trays/snuffers from campuses Campus Police recommended to only remove ash trays/snuffers from interior only and place on the outline of parking lots G. Staked Signs H. Emergency/Evacuation Signage I. Gender Neutral Bathrooms Signage A plan needs to be created to decide which bathrooms will be designated as gender neutral bathrooms Signage to be chosen to identify gender neutral bathrooms J. Campus Events Issues K. Campus Entrance Signage – Campus Police Campus Police and Campus Committee would like to reinstall regulatory signage on all campuses (such as “No dogs, No weapons, etc.) IX. X. XI. Action Items Gabe Waite to order new signage to be installed at the gym – “Kinesiology” Tom Macias to meet with Charlie Ng regarding signage for CLC buildings. Currently no signage is located on buildings. Do we want to install signage? Facilities will install new water fill stations in the Student Center by end of May 2016 Ralph Pickering to meet with Campus Police to identify all locations of the ash trays/snuffers to be removed/relocated. Tom Macias to present a plan to Charlie Ng regarding which bathrooms are to be designated as gender neutral. Committee recommends using single stall restrooms. Tom Macias to meet with Charlie Ng to review and approve regulatory signage for all campuses Future Agenda Items and Announcements Parking permits at TCI Campus Identify the number of “No Smoking” signs will be needed once the ash trays/snuffers are removed/relocated Adjournment NEXT MEETING: Friday, March 18, 2016
