Northbrook College’s Expression of Interest
Thank you for expressing an interest to work in partnership with Northbrook College.
Synopsis of Northbrook College Proposition
As a current Lead Provider of significant contracts in Apprenticeships, Adult Learner Responsive and a
deliverer of a comprehensive portfolio of full cost recovery training, Northbrook is keen to continue its
activity with partners. Northbrook has enjoyed very successful partnership arrangements with a diverse
range of local, regional and national Providers and, as a result has achieved an excellent reputation for
strong and supportive Partnership working.
For contract year 2016/17 commencing 1st September 2016 Northbrook College, who are based in
West Sussex, would like to invite discussions from potential partners for which their:


Capacity to provide delivery support through the College’s funding allocation is supported by
historic quality provision or
Own staff training requirements can be delivered in partnership via innovative solutions
Location of delivery within the South of England
Northbrook College has been delivering Apprenticeships for the past 20 years, with successful
partnership arrangements in place for the past 12 years. Increasing its partnership base significantly
over the last 4 years has enabled the College to enhance its existing provision to over 40 frameworks
which now supports diversity and a comprehensive offer to its employer clients
Northbrook has exceptionally high Apprenticeship framework success rates and will look to engage
Partners who have the same commitment to quality and support for Apprentices.

Northbrook’s Partnership Process:
Stage 1
 Eligible training providers to complete and return this Expression of Interest
 Complete and return Partner Framework Plan (complete with all qualification aims and length stay
for each element of the framework)
 Complete and return monthly profile for a minimum of 25 starts per annum
 Send a copy of your last audited set of accounts and up to date management accounts
Stage 2
Northbrook to undertake a due diligence review which may require the college to: Request copy of latest Ofsted Report
 Take up references of Previous / current partnership arrangement
 Obtain confirmation of registration on Register of Training Organisations
 Have confirmation of other subcontracting activity with SFA funding
Stage 3
Training Providers successfully selected will be invited to an initial contract meeting to agree
arrangements for 2016/17 delivery.
