Activity and Purpose. Using the CCR blog and Polycom Videoconference technologies, you’ll be
able to learn first-hand strategies for international collaboration and communication. These
practical skills will benefit you as a future writer, speaker, collaborator, and global leader.

5-10 minute question/answer for each team.
Blog reflection and exit questionnaire
For the class activity on April 13/14:
o Post an entry about yourself and your research interest by April 6 on the CCR blog
o Read the articles for your group focus (social media, oratory skills, or international relations)
o Also read the blog entries posted by colleagues in your group from the other country
o Attend the video-conference during class time to meet fellow students, discuss blog posts and
share responses to the readings
For the class activity on May 25/26:
o Hold one group meeting through digital technologies (Skype, facebook, gmail chat, IM, or email)
to finalize your PPT and speaking plans for the presentation
o Construct a team PPT including the names and photos of all group members
o Include slides on “best communication practices for leaders” with regard to your group focus
o Determine speakers from each side for the 10-minute max presentation
o Practice the presentation and come to class ready for an exciting video-connection: a
celebration of Russia-US collaboration!
