TLSI 2016 – Applicant Travel Bursary Information The Transnational Law Institute (TLI) will cover the majority of costs of the programme from its own funding. This includes all faculty and speaker costs, programme venues and materials, self-catering accommodation and some meals for participants. We have additionally set aside limited funding for travel bursaries. Travel bursaries are intended to enable attendance by participants who would not otherwise be able to afford to travel to London or who in general have not been the recipient of other funding or grants in support of their PhD studies or early career research. Travel bursaries are intended to contribute to a successful applicant’s travel costs but may not cover travel costs in full. In all cases we expect participants to apply in the first instance for funding from their home institution or other applicable funding bodies. If you are offered a place for TLSI 2016 we will inform you as soon as possible if you have been successful in your application for a travel bursary, and of the value of your travel bursary which you may then use towards the cost of your chosen mode of travel.
