Greene County Leadership Academy

The Greene County Leadership Academy will bring together emerging, highly motivated leaders, youth and adults, who represent the area. The academy provides a system for participants to learn from all sectors of the area. The results?

Participants:

 acquire a broad understanding of the complex issues and tasks facing them as leaders.

 sharpen their leadership skills.

 build relationships necessary to resolve the challenges ahead.

 identify opportunities.

 be better prepared for citizen involvement, whether as a volunteer in a community organization or on the level of holding a public office.

From opening orientation to graduation, participants receive an intensive educational program.

The academy will be held at the Greene

County Extension Building, Route 67 North,

Carrollton. Most sessions will begin at 7:00 p.m. and last approximately two hours.

The Illinois State Board of Education has approved 1.5 CPDU’s for each session for
