EHE International Programs Committee Meeting Notes 10 February 2016 1) MoUs/MoAs/SES The status of EHE faculty engagement in Korea and Turkey was discussed. Attempts are being made to hold a national meeting in Turkey and to create a student exchange at the doctoral level in Ed Psych with Korea U. 2) Study Abroad and Faculty Funds and deadlines Sara Gallo, Dean Cristol and David Bloome were announced as the winners of Round one faculty funds. Identification of GEC courses including FEEP, School & Society and Student Teaching were announced as courses where Ed Abroad development was being considered. 3) Global Option – there are 9 currently enrolled. 4) Sponsored Students – Fulbright / government / university processing Admissions are currently being processed. 5) Annual Report 2014 – 2015 is posted to the www site. 6) Focus Countries a) Indonesia – Volunteers are being sought for summer/16 to teach English. Jackie Goodway, Adrian Rodgers and David Stein are active this semester. b) Italy/Israel/GLP – Laurie Katz & Adrian Rodgers participated in the January study tour. c) India – Karen Irving and Adrian Rodgers will represent EHE and the Aligarh Nanotechnology course, March/16. 7) Other Business – Members are asked to consider Goals to create a strategic plan.
