CHILD DEVELOPMENT

Early Childhood Principles and Practices at Los Angeles Mission College.
As part of the class requirements, the student is asked to observe in a child development
school/program during the semester. This provides an opportunity to become more sensitive to the
needs of the children, to the role of the teacher, and to quality environments. In addition, the student
is able to gain a more realistic insight into a career in Early Childhood Education.
The college would appreciate your assistance in our program by providing the opportunity for our
student to observe an early childhood setting in action.
