Prospective Educator Scholarship Award Recipients
We are pleased to announce the 2008 Phi Delta Kappa – East Carolina University
Chapter Prospective Educator Scholarship Award recipients. This year our scholarship
committee selected four graduating high school seniors to receive awards in the amount
of $400.00 each and one doctoral student to receive an award in the amount of
$500.00. The scholarships are awarded to:
Andrew Jester (Pitt County Schools / J.H. Rose High School)
Shamira Robertson (Pitt County Schools / Ayden-Grifton High School)
Kaitlyn Harrison (Pitt County Schools / D. H. Conley High School)
Anna Riddick (Pitt County Schools/ D. H. Conley High School)
LaVette Ford (East Carolina University)
The applications submitted by Andrew Jester and Anna Riddick will be forwarded to Phi
Delta Kappa International for consideration for a national level scholarship.
