from the NBER Macro--History Database. Except in very special
circumstances
you would be better off getting the individual series as you need them
from
http://nber.org/databases/macrohistory.
On the WWW any individual series can be identified and retrieved with the
URL:
http://www.nber.org/databases/macrohistory/data/NN/FILE.db
where NN is the chapter number (the first two digits in the
FILE name) and file is the name below before the colon. e.g.:
http://www.nber.org/databases/macrohistory/data/01/a01005a.db
for the Index of Crop Production. When citing for publication
please refer to the NBER Macrohistory Database and give the
complete URL for all the series used.
