treatment approaches for basic dermatology
concerns. A resource was created and provided to
patients and effectiveness of the resource was
evaluated by patients and residents.

Assessed Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) for
trauma patient s with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). VTE chemical
prophylaxis guidelines for SCI/TBI patients were
adopted by Trauma team.
Assessed clinic patient care with identified and
accepted practice parameters for Primary Open
Angle Glaucoma patients; suggested changes to
practice were implemented and reassessed to
monitor implementation improvements to patient
care.
Addressed resident concern regarding EEG
reading skill and board preparation performance
through collaborative development of an online
supplemental curriculum between faculty and
residents with ongoing evaluations to assess
effectiveness of intervention on board performance
as well as on increased confidence in patient care
with EEG readings.
