you have used or wish to use, and then save this document for your reference.

You will still need to register for your courses each semester using Student Self Service
As part of all bachelor of music curricula, students are required to have 32
hours of integrative studies credits, including the following:
Competencies
A. Writing (must satisfy by end of 1st year)
Student will satisfy the Writing Competency if he or she: Choose an item.
B. Foreign Language
Performance, Music Ed Vocal Emphasis (Voice Concentration), & Non-music Elective Studies majors
will satisfy the FL Competency if he or she: Choose an item.
Composition, Music Ed Instrumental, and Music Ed Vocal Emphasis (Keyboard Concentration) majors
will satisfy the FL Competency if he or she: Choose an item.
* Such experiences may include a summer/semester/year abroad engaged in activities such as internships that require extensive
use of a language other than the student’s native tongue
** or its equivalent through a test such as the College Level Examination Program [CLEP]

OR , if not taking Physics of Music, Music Ed majors must choose at least one course from A and one from
B with two different prefixes:
