STYLE AND STRUCTURE GUIDELINES &
MATERIAL FOR THE MASTER’S FINAL PROJECT DEFENCE
Students must submit the Application Form for the MFP Defence and Assessment to the ETSE-UV
administration office along with three copies of the documentation presented as the Master’s Final
Project. The following guidelines must be observed:
•
Written in either language used at the University of Valencia or in English.
•
A-4 size paper, with the exception of plans, whose dimensions will follow the precepts of
technical drawings.
•
Numbered pages.
•
Printed on both sides of paper.
•
12 point font, single-spaced.
•
Margins: top and bottom 25 mm; right 35 mm and left 20 mm.
•
At least one of the copies should be bound with a glued spine or a hardback binding.
•
Cover and spine (spine only in the bound copies) according to the instructions in the
appendix (in the language used for writing the project).
•
The first page must indicate the names of the committee members, the grade and mark and
the date of the defence, using the form in the appendix.
•
Detailed index with numerical references to the pages.
•
Prologue/abstract of the project.
An electronic copy of the project must also be provided (DVD, CD or similar) with all the relevant
information for proper assessment according to the nature of the project (materials, data registers,
animations, films, tools and applications, plans, rules, etc.). This digital format must be included in
a sleeve in the inside front cover of each copy.
