Press Release HEC Paris creates the Visions of Leadership Center with the support of L’Oréal Jouy-en-Josas, 17 April 2008 In order to promote innovation in management sciences and to bring together HEC’s activities on issues related to leadership, L’Oréal and HEC Paris announce the creation of the first “Visions of Leadership” Center. This partnership was signed on April 16th 2008. At the forefront of research into leadership knowledge and practices, the Center wishes to be a benchmark for training in France and abroad. Jean-Paul Agon, CEO of L’Oréal, states “The leadership qualities of our managers are a key factor of success for the company. L’Oréal’s strategy is based on innovation, organic growth and globalization. Our involvement with the HEC “Vision of Leadership Center” will improve our performance and maintain our competitive edge.” Daniel Bernard, Chairman of the HEC Foundation who personally participated in funding this project, highlights, “Thanks to L’Oréal’s support, the Visions of Leadership Center will be involved in research, training and communication”. “HEC Paris continues its growth and rise amongst the top business schools and offers a new concept of partnership to businesses and individuals who wish to associate themselves with this Center,” indicates Bernard Ramanantsoa, Dean of HEC Paris.
