a. Forum: next week on Wednesday. Set up at 7:30.
: we need to advertise it a lot. It is important because it will be on language
expansion and communication major. It is important for communication to
have a thesis. Most probably we are going to have Spanish classes since
either 2 or 3 language in the world/states. Chinese for business people,
Arabic for international affairs. Maybe not all them but we should start with
one. Italian is already something
: cannot even dominate. If they want to talk about something else, we should
change topics
: these are just our suggestions. Not all forum about this.. Also we should
contact communication majors so that they can tell their students to come
and share their ideas at the forum.
: I am taking an advanced public speaking class and we were having an
interesting conversation about thesis. So can professor also come?
: of course! But also they should tell their students.
: also many communication major do not know they don’t have a thesis. It is
problem for their master.

a. Meeting with Trustees
The board met the board of trustees. So we had this meeting, after the
introduction of all clubs (all clubs came) after they asked if we had any
questions for them. Mary was the first person to ask a question. She was
concerned about our Aula Magna and make it larger, both as a lecture hall
and as a place for drama plays.
Also, Trustees are trying to look for more facilities in the area.

of a big lecture hall.
: I think we have bigger priorities than the aula magna

bought new technologies but they do not know where

 Budget Report
Basically, revenue from the students tickets. But not from Alumni. It was
deposited non JCU. We just have money from students and guests. Also100
dollars for a board of trustees tickets.
6,832 euros. We have almost 7 thousand, plus 5 thousand from the
President, and some from the Alumni. I will go through these things with
the finance next week when the bill from the hassler arrives. We will see
how much money we need to take from our budget.

academic committee, they have to do that. We need to disperse the work.

STAND managed to send me the date for the run
for food. Organized by FAO, it will be on a Sunday
oct 21st. It is possible to choose competitive and not
competitive.
: I went there last year and it was a very good

It starts at 10, but there at 9:30 for the sing up.
With stand we can do that all together. At the
Terme di Caracalla.

a. Make Up days
I was in my public speaking class and how make up days are problems
for the VS who want to travel.
: apart from the part that we have to take those classes either at the
beginning or at the end but I think we should keep it the day it is. People
know well in advance when they are. She probably did not check the
calendar.
: I brought this up because I though it was important as we do not have
any VS representative.
: there are only like 3 make up Fridays so..!
: I think we should not make them up at all. We have holidays but we are
still doing that classes regardless. WE should not have make ups at all.

i. Clean-Up day:
: first community service event. We go around our neighborhood
and clean up trash. It is fun! People who hate Americans because
we are always drunk, it shows that we actually care about our
community. It is a way to give back. Last year they also wrote
about us on the newspaper.

: we can for sure, although they work more with santo egidio.
: also hug day? We can do it whenever.
: since you valeria and alina are in the community service can

Coming up! International student leadership
conference. Save the dates have already been sent
out. Our goal is to have more universities this year.
Next meeting I will bring a proposal so that I can
show you a little bit what it is. We need start
reserving rooms, look for speakers and have
Lorenzo working on budget.
