In response to past student comments in the NSS the
Department of History has:
•
Introduced statistical surveys of marks on modules reviewed by all members of staff to ensure
fairness and consistency in marking standards
•
created a clearer policy on the responsibilities of staff and students in non-assessed student-led
seminars
•
held meetings with a senior library representative to raise the concerns of our students regarding
library provision
