 Joy Richey Leadership Award (Applicants must submit a short summary of
your leadership activities in 4-H. Applicant must be in High School and will
receive a $50 savings bond)
 Electricity (special award application (for county exhibit day winners)
 Outstanding 4-H’er (All applicants must submit a 4-H story, be 16 years old
and be an Achievement Member for 2 years)
 Outstanding 1st year member (one award for a traditional 1st year member and
one award for any 4-Her in their 1st year of 4-H)
 Discover Chicago (The Franklin County 4-H Support Committee sponsors two
$100 scholarships for 5th, 6th, and 7th graders to attend)
 4-H Youth Camp (The Franklin County 4-H Support Committee sponsors two
$75 scholarships for youth 8-12 years of age)
 4-H Great Debate (The Franklin County 4-H Support Committee sponsors one
$50 scholarship for high school age 4-Hers)
 Tom L. Newbury Memorial Scholarship (One $50 savings bond for one 4-Her
that writes a short story on why you like to raise animals)
 Shirley Marlow Memorial Scholarship (One $50 savings bond for one 4-Her
that writes a short story on why they like to sew)
