Directions: You are in charge of assigning
dorms for the Lakeside Summer Jamboree. In
the past the ratio of girls to boys attending the
event has been 9 to 7. This year they are
expecting about 10,000 people to attend!
Below is a list of dorms available for the
Jamboree. First find the approximate number
of girls and approximate number of boys.
Next assign dorms to the girls and boys,
keeping in mind that you can only put girls or
boys in a dorm, but not both! Explain how
you determined dorm assignments including
any necessary computations, sketches,
formulas, and notes.
