Did you know hot peppers have their own measuring scale for heat, known as “Scoville Units”.
Habañero peppers hold the world record with some varieties scoring a tongue-searing 300,000 units.
Indian research scientists tested a chili pepper called Naga Jolokia (jō-lō-kia) This scorching hot chili
holds the distinction of being the world’s hottest pepper with a score of 855,000 Scoville units. That is a
