Staff Training and Enrichment Program Application
UW’s Staff Training and Enrichment Program is a four month program designed to prepare
classified staff with potential for leadership roles at the University of Wyoming by:
Developing participants’ leadership and management skills;
Promoting communication skills;
Developing coaching and planning skills;
Enhancing team development and team results;
Providing skills to effectively motivate and instigate change;
Aligning newly acquired skill sets with the University’s mission and vision; and
Assisting the University in carrying out its mission through better equipped leadership.
Participants are selected by the Staff Training and Enrichment Program Selection Committee
on the merits of the information provided on this application. The Committee seeks
representation from a cross-section of the UW campus community, including those outside of
Laramie.

2. PROGRAM COMMITMENT
The Staff Training and Enrichment Program requires a two hour orientation session,
five half-day classroom sessions, and individual study and learning time. Participation is
required at all classroom sessions. If selected, can you devote the required time to the
program?
