* Attendance at 2 public performances other than your own is required, as well as writing a one page
critique based on the performance watched: i.e. Senior concerts, All-District Concert, Broadway shows
~We strongly encourage participation in events such as the NYSSMA festival and to
attend performances presented by the music department throughout the year!
CONCERTS
Concerts are a vital part of the curricular class, therefore you will receive full credit for your participation. Failure to attend a required
event will result in the lowering of a student's grade. Punctuality also impacts grades. When you are early or on time to an event you
will receive full credit.
 All students who take part in a music course that includes a public performance or activity
must take part in that performance, or else receive a possible failing grade in the course for
that marking period.

* White Blouse (short sleeve->full sleeve)
* Black DRESS pants
* Black knee-length skirt or dress pants
* Tie (color to be determined)
* Black Shoes (no tall heels or sneakers)
* Black DRESS shoes and black socks
* Black stockings/tights or socks
*No T-shirts, leggings, sneakers, fuzzy boots, or any items inappropriate for concert performance*
*There is a very strict dress policy. If your child is not properly
dressed as per the attire listed above, they may not be able to
perform in the concert.*
**AFTER PERFORMING, ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO REMAIN IN
CAFETERIA A UNTIL THE END OF THE ENTIRE CONCERT**
