TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN MATHEMATICS THIS YEAR:
1) YOU WILL NEED:
a) Textbook: Glencoe Geometry
b) Notebook: Binder, looseleaf, and graph paper
c) Calculator: Texas Instruments Graphing Calculator: TI-84 Plus
2) YOU MUST BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
a) your own work and behavior
b) attending classes on a regular basis (no cutting)
c) arriving to class on time (no lateness)
d) bringing required materials to class every day (notebook, pen, pencil, calculator)
e) completing homework assignments everyday. In accordance with district and school
policy, work missed due to absence (legal, sickness, cutting, truancy, lateness, field
trip, etc.) must be made up.
It is the student’s responsibility to find out what work was missed and to see that it is

3) CLASS POLICIES
a) Homework: homework will be assigned at least four times per week in accordance with
the District’s Homework Policy. At teacher’s discretion, homework may be collected
and/or graded.
b) Class Participation: each student is expected to participate actively in class discussion
and homework review each day.
