Unfinished business was reviewed.
WebCT/Blackboard Course Management System (CMS) Presentation
Phil Chatterton from WebCT/Blackboard presented the new CMS as well as an add-on ePortfolio.
The CMS can be integrated with Luminous and Banner.
The new CMS is more student-driven, students having greater control over the learning environment.
The new CMS borrows concepts from MySpace and YouTube.
Kathleen Kirkpatrick and Shared Governance
Kathleen Kirkpatrick gave each member of the committee a Tech Committee Governance Binder which
includes information on the Governance Review Process and includes Meeting Resources such as
meeting summary templates and ground rules for effective meetings.
