course, typically Arena
• Arena is playing in an important role in proposal and
high volume manufacturing line
• Great for presentations – helps visually demonstrate
potential bottleneck
• Information can be transferred to Excel, which makes
it user friendly for anyone!

What does a Quality Eng Do???
• Involved with the producability of the unit during the
design phase
• Works on proposals for new programs
• Responsible for cost account managing and
maintaining Supplier and Cost Performance Index
• Make sure program stays on schedule and ships on
time
• Works in a team with QE, Test Engineers, Reliability
Engineer, Program manager, etc.
• Coordinates manpower required for production build,
and manages assemblers and technicians to make
sure they’re doing their job well

What does a Quality Eng Do???
• We solve problems!
• Ensure processes and procedures are being followed
• Travel to suppliers to solve issues and inspect first
article hardware
• Provide refresher training on procedures for
engineers and technicians
• Resolve issues with incoming parts through the
Receiving Inspection department
