Physics Department Lunchtime Seminar Series* – Week 8 “A Charming Matter Antimatter Interferometer” Speaker: Ms. Melissa Anderson (06/28/2006 Wed., 12:00 – 1:00 pm, Science Center 1C13) Abstract The CLEO-c experiment allows us to study charm physics from a different perspective than most experiments. We can exploit quantum correlations in order explore effects such as CP violation in the decays of charmed particles. This analysis is also relevant to measurements of a quark mixing angle and CP violation in the decays of bottom particles.
