In this important role, your primary responsibility will be to answer incoming phone calls from doctors and patients. You will be solving problems with above and beyond customer service, passion, enthusiasm and empathy. Your daily duties will also involve proactively following up with doctor’s offices to ensure patient appointments have been properly confirmed. The ultimate goal is to ensure a positive patient / doctor experience with the ZocDoc site, using your proactive thinking for process improvement, and company development, always thinking outside the box for new or better ways of doing things. Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in any field with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are crucial for success in this role. There is a lot of problem solving involved in this position. Staying positive and empathetic when patients/doctors come to us with concerns is paramount. Ability to empathize with patients and doctors is critical. Being able to deal with people who are not happy and turn it around into a positive experience. Ability to identify who your audience and tailor communication style to that audience. Ability to switch gears quickly in a fast-paced every changing environment.
