WINTER POSITION DESCRIPTIONS
Note: All employees may be required to assist with snow removal/shoveling.
ADMINISTRATION
Vault Cashiers
Handle all daily deposits and miscellaneous cash duties. Banking experience preferred but not necessary.
Seasonal positions available
Auditors
Audit daily cash reports and input summaries into Excel spreadsheets. Must be detail oriented. Seasonal
positions available.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Bartenders
Operate high volume, pre-set key registers, product knowledge important, follow strict guidelines regarding
alcohol control, adhere to cash control policies while providing excellent service to guests. Maintain a clean and
safe workplace. Must have Arizona Alcohol Training certificate and Coconino County Food Handlers card.

Bussers
Responsible for a clean and well organized lodge; bus tables, stock condiments, wash windows, vacuum, dust,
remove trash and shovel snow (a very important position). Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Seasonal
positions available.
Food Cashiers
Operate high volume, pre-set key registers, knowledge of menus, products and pricing. Adhere to check-in and
cashing out policies balancing to register tapes. Cashiers will also stock condiments and products as well as
perform various cleaning duties. Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Seasonal positions available.
Cooks
Must have basic cooking knowledge and prep skills. Will do everything from flipping burgers, prepare deli
sandwiches, serve, make pizza, shovel snow and wash dishes to performing various cleaning duties. Must have
Coconino County Food Handlers card. Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Seasonal positions available.
Cook (Lead)
Food preparation and production to ensure quality and portion controls as well as health code compliance.
Customer relations, shift supervision, training and motivational skills required. Must have Food Handler's card.
Create Specials, maintain par levels. Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Seasonal positions available.
FACILITIES
Locker Room Attendant/Custodial
Individuals in this position should be mechanically inclined and be able to work well with the public. The
maintenance of lockers/locker room and restroom facilities is all part of this job. Seasonal, full & part time
positions available.
Lodge Maintenance/Custodial
Properly maintain our lodges, restrooms, locker rooms and those items which also pertain to facilities —
windows, floors and trash removal during the day — as needed in all locations. Seasonal positions available.
GUEST SERVICE/TICKETS
Guest Service Attendants
The job title is self-descriptive with attendants performing every function that has to do with guest service and
the resulting challenges. Includes issuance of special program and promotion tickets, groups (from booking to
arrival), lost and found items, answering questions, issuing snowchecks and/or refunds, resolving complaints,
directing traffic, and seasonal positions available.
Ticket Cashiers
A front line employee that must be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the ski area and northern Arizona as
well as the various ticket options. Must be able to handle money accurately and efficiently. Seasonal positions
available.
LIFT OPERATIONS
Lift Operators/Ticket Checkers
Assist passengers on and off lifts, operate and understand all controls, safety circuits, telephones, etc.,
check/validate all passenger’s tickets/passes, provide assistance, inform and encourage guests and continually
monitor and maintain ramps and surrounding area, with a smile and in a safe manner. Seasonal positions
available.
SLOPE MAINTENANCE
Mechanic/Mechanic's Helper
Maintain fleet of heavy equipment: snowcats, snowmobiles and passenger vehicles. Positions require being on
call and perhaps some night shifts. Seasonal positions available.
Parking Attendants
Politely and effectively control traffic flow inside our permit area. Must be at least 15 years of age, must stand
outdoors for extended periods of time, be able to shovel snow and pick up litter in parking lots. Seasonal
positions available.
Snowcat Operators
Maintain snow surface conditions in a manner our guests are accustomed to, work swing or grave yard shifts,
perform light mechanical duties as well as pre-op/post-op machine checkouts. Seasonal positions available.
RENTALS/REPAIRS
Rental Technicians/Cashiers
Friendly and outgoing people. Cashiers must be knowledgeable about all phases of operation and handle
money/paperwork accurately. Techs must be able to fit guests with equipment to manufacturer's specifications
and carefully explain how to use equipment. Attention to detail is a must! Seasonal positions available.
Ski/Snowboard Repair Technicians
Friendly and knowledgeable people who can provide professional ski/snowboard repair service. Previous repair
and/or tuning experience a must. Seasonal positions available.
RETAIL
Retail Sales Associates
Customer/guest service oriented with product knowledge skills. Ability to handle high sales volume days,
maintain store standards (merchandising, cleaning, stocking), cash register and cash handling accountability and
monthly inventory counts. Seasonal positions available.
SKI SCHOOL
Ski Instructors
Teach adult and children’s lessons. Basic function is to provide high quality and effective ski instruction to our
guests, both adults and children. Seasonal positions available. (No snowboard instructor positions available.)
Ski and Ride School Cashiers
Performs the same functions as a Ticket Cashier as well as coordinating private, group and children's lessons
via Ski/Snowboard School for all ability levels, including disabled skiers. Must communicate effectively and
work well with others. Seasonal positions available.
SKI PATROL
Ski Patrol [Pro Patrol, OEC (Outdoor Emergency Care), National Ski Patrol]
Arizona EMT certified or National Registry required. Must be available a minimum of 8 days per month.

Snow Removal Operators
Remove snow from the parking lots and Snowbowl Road. Usually work at night, some experience in heavy
equipment and/or CDL required. Seasonal positions available.
FREESTYLE TERRAIN
Sunset Terrain Park Attendants
Must be available at least 8 days per month. Expert ski/board skills required. CPR certification recommended.
Physical labor required; shoveling, daily maintenance, etc. Seasonal positions available.
SKI LIFT LODGE
Ski Lift Lodge & Cabins Front Desk/Waitstaff
Must possess ability to multi-task: wait service, answer phones and take lodging reservations. Cleaning and
other dining room duties also apply. Must have Coconino County Food Handlers card and Arizona Liquor
Certification. Full & part time positions available. Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Ski Lift Lodge & Cabins Housekeepers
Maintain lodging rooms: clean, dust, change linens, laundry, etc. Performed at a standard to achieve guest
satisfaction and meet company guidelines. Full & part time positions available. Maintain a clean and safe

Groups/Marketing Associate
To assist the marketing team with group reservations and to help achieve overall marketing goals. Must have
experience with website and social media maintenance, design of printed & web materials and the ability to
multi task while providing high customer service
Tickets and Guest Services Supervisor
Looking for a hard working, enthusiastic individual to join the Guest Services team! This position assists the Tickets and
Guest Services Manager in the daily operation of the department; including season pass processing, daily ticket sales,
general customer service and supervising department staff. Will be expected to learn and understand every aspect of the
department and be able to fill in for all stations as needed. Must have excellent communication, problem solving, and
computer skills. Attention to detail and the ability to effectively supervise staff are very important. Previous supervisory
experience preferred. Employment is Seasonal/Full-time.
Assistant Freestyle Supervisor
Assist the Freestyle Terrain Supervisor, Freestyle Terrain Builders, Grooming Supervisor Patrol Director and Day
Crew with all the needs of the department. Helps with construction projects, special event planning, scheduling,
training, daily maintenance and operations of Freestyle Terrain. Works directly with park day crew as a team to accomplish
daily goals and operations. Follow written and oral instructions, including communicating with other departments. Ability
to maintain documentation related to freestyle terrain operations. Be able to identify obstacles and hazards in all types
of terrain. Manage time efficiently during shift to make sure all tasks and projects are completed. Ensures compliance with
all Risk Management, health and safety protocols. Able to work all shifts at any given time, including holidays and
weekends. Perform safe installation of rails and other features.
Assistant Food & Beverage Director
Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all Food & Beverage outlets throughout the ski area; including financial
performance, operational systems, procedures and goals, maintaining excellent guest and employee relations, while
maintaining the highest standards of safety, service and cleanliness, and oversight of properly trained and motivated staff.
Must have good communication and organizational skills and maintain good rapport with the various departments of the
Arizona Snowbowl.
Retail Manager
Responsible for developing and executing a summer and winter retail business plan to achieve established standards, sales
and profit objectives while providing exceptional guest service. Hire and develop an effective sales team, properly schedule
and manage up to 10 employees. Maintain and create effective vendor relationships. Track inventory and provide sales
performance analysis. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekend and holidays.
Candidate must have at least two years of retail store management experience as the Store Manager, preferably Specialty
Store Manager. A solid knowledge of retail operations, strong analytical skills, recruitment and training of staff, oversee
and ensure the smooth operation of their stores from inventory and cash management to coaching and managing Retail Sales
Associates.
