Position Overview
The SCA Americas Product Supply business is currently searching for an Assistant Controller
(Unit Controller); the position will be based at our facility in Flagstaff, AZ. The Assistant
Controller (Unit Controller) will support and work closely with the Site Controller to ensure
accurate and timely Period Closing, Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, Quarterly
Forecasting, as well as Annual Budgeting. The Assistant Controller will provide manufacturing
analysis and reporting to the Site Manufacturing team. This position will work in close
collaboration with the Site Controller, as well as with all levels of Site Manufacturing and
Product Supply Finance Team, to help ensure performance results; budgets and forecasts are
accurately and effectively presented.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT
LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

 Period Closing and Reporting:
o Assist in monthly closing duties including verification and validation of select
balance sheet items (stock, assets, materials, machine clothing, etc.) and initiate
corrective actions postings
o Oversee and review entries made by Shared Services (GBS)
o Assist in execution of AP/TP process
o Support financial reporting
 Annual Budget Process:
o Assist in data collection and analysis
o Assist in timely budget load and reporting
o Support yearly target setting process
 Product Costing and Analysis:
o Set up and maintenance of production SKUs
o Ensure timely updates of material costing, including SKU changes, quarterly costing
runs and material price updates
o Assist in providing monthly and quarterly costing analysis
 Capital Process:
o Support initiation and maintenance of capital projects
o Project cost tracking
o Assist with Capital forecasting
 Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
 Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or Accounting required
 Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience preferred; Experience in a manufacturing
environment strongly preferred
 Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
 Excellent oral and written communication skills
 Solid knowledge and skills in Excel, BW, SAP, and Data Warehouse/Database
 TRAVEL: Ability to travel 5% of time to domestic locations.
