EXPLORING RESOURCES – A Scavenger Hunt
A “scavenger hunt” for AT that can help you
“do the things you want and need to do at work”
Directions: Each team will receive at least two different catalogs. The first team to find assistive technology devices that can address EACH function on the list will be the “winner.” If no team finds a device for EACH function, the team with the MOST devices identified will win!
Be sure to indicate the catalog, page, and item name for each!
1. You can’t bend down to pick up the paper you dropped

You can’t hear the alarm ringing in the morning to get up and off to work on time
3. It is difficult to type (even using one finger) without hitting keys you didn’t want to hit!

7. You always forget to take something (your lunch, your appointment book, something!) when you leave your for work each morning

9. Although you love to play cards, it is difficult to keep the cards from falling out of your hand (and then everyone sees them!)
10. It is hard to swivel in and out of the car
11. It is difficult to open cans and jars
12. It is difficult to read the time on your watch
