Needs it back next week. Discussion on how to calculate the percentage of instructional cost of total budget. Handled differently from campus to campus. Request for enrollment reports by major, delivery method for fall. Program indicators are available for programs. 2. GOOD NEWS AND WOW! ITEMS STANDING AGENDA ITEM Angie Gora’s NAASS award – Ojibwe language camp. Jen Theisen will be meeting with Chelsea Clinton, related to her work with “Girls who Code”. 3. EVENTS STANDING AGENDA ITEM December 4 Madrigal dinner invitation. A number of musical events in December. Dec 8 signing at North Hennepin CC Biology partnership. 4. COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING – SCOTT FAUST STANDING AGENDA ITEM Continuing with the departmental brochure effort. Would like to have one for every program. Working on a RFP for a digital marketing campaign. Interested in pulling together program specific open houses at NTC. 5. UNIVERSITY SCHOLAR QUESTIONS – ARTICLE 11, SECTION N CARRY OVER MARTIN Randy will develop a process for nomination for review and approval, to take to next meet and confer. 6. BUDGET FORUM / POSITION PLANNING CARRY OVER MARTIN Reviewed plans for filling vacancies, including sabbatical replacements. Schedule to fill will go to meet and confer. Discussed the plan for holding carry forwards – will move them into a holding account. 7. MISCELLANEOUS COURSES ATTACHMENT 1 & 2 LYNN Shared courses and enrollments in misc courses for fall and spring as an FYI. 8. FENCED CREDITS ATTACHMENT 3 LYNN Shared number of credits generated by 80/20 programs this fall as compared to all distance credits. 9. LEVERAGED EQUIPMENT ATTACHMENT 4 MARTIN Budget has been released. Requires matching funds. Can FY15 matching funds be used for this? 10. CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT ATTACHMENTS 5 & 6 MARTIN Lynn will forward letter to school districts that we work with as an update. Bob will forward the message to the school district that NTC works with. 11. COURSE SCHEDULING GUIDELINES ATTACHMENT 7 MICHELLE / COLLEEN Reviewed guidelines in general and as the impact the planning for the ALC. Discussion of allowing faculty to indicate preferred classrooms? Would need to allow more time for optimization processes to be run once schedule is created. COURSE ROTATIONS IN ISRS MICHELLE 4 year course rotations is in master academic plan. Does this information exist to be able to provide to Records to start working on this?
