Marybeth absent. UPDATES Enrollment update: Handout from James Parker; overall our current numbers are down point in time. Facilities update: Bill Maki; nothing new since last month. Bensen Hall pushed back a few weeks. Will start in mid february Positions update - AA / EEO position: No change. Position is critical to risk management of BSU. Budget update / NTC - Bill Maki: FYE and budget…fall even from previous year. Now 3.4% down from last spring. 40-45FYE short for budget projections this year. About $315K impact. NTC update - FYE decreased from 750 to 720 this year. 55% total credits are online. Nursing program changes that were planned did have an impact. Report will come in April. $1.2M short for coming year projected. Athletics: Title IX report is complete and sent to BSUFA. Campaign update: $27+M commitments. Continuing to talk with major prospects. Local campaign is underway. Percent of giving among fac/staff matters to prospects; not the amount given. Strategic Plan update: Response draft from BSUFA is coming. CARRY OVER AGENDA ITEMS 1. Student Preparedness for University Success - President Hanson (12-19-13); small groups asked to form for addressing this has been put forward. 2. Lib Ed assessment and class sizes - Keith Marek (12-19-13): Concern is still with adjuncts who teach large sections. One example is adjunct who had extra-large number of students who he had to enter data into Taskstream. Faculty member with large class who had 20 students had the number reduced. Need to send out update from assessment committee. 3. Web Site Response & where from here Chris Brown: White Whale staff will be on campus soon to begin working with others. Need draft schedule for them sent out. 4. Class Cancellation notification pilot Update Bob Griggs: Need a few faculty to pilot the push notification using texting to students this semester. BSUFA will consider this and report back. Suggestion to post clarification that university is open for classes when there may be questions about such. NEW ITEMS 1. Standard language / vacancy notices alignment with strategic plan and other university plans. Advice needed from others on including BSU values, themes on future notices. 2.
