This week we will be reading a realistic fiction story, Mr. Tanen’s Tie Trouble. This story is about a school principal who uses his tie collection to help his school. We will discuss who the hero and helper is in this story as well as explore the question “when might a character need help solving a problem? This home project has 2 parts: Sentences and designing a tie.
