All About Mrs. Sharpe I grew up in Cowpens, SC, living with my mom, dad, and two brothers. I loved school my whole life. I knew that I wanted to be a teacher at a very early age. I set a goal for myself and I went out and achieved it! I decided to go to one of the best colleges for education: Anderson University! I fell in love with the area, and when my four years of college were complete, I decided to stay in Anderson to teach. I made the right choice! My career started out teaching first grade at Homeland Park Elementary. During that first year, I met my then future husband, Ronny. I stayed at Homeland Park for two years. At the end of my second year, I had the opportunity to transfer to Whitehall Elementary to teach second grade. I took that opportunity and I am thrilled that I did. Not only did I get to teach my dream grade, but I also married my wonderful husband my first year at Whitehall! I am now beginning my 8th year of teaching and I love every minute of it! I am so blessed to be working with children and seeing them grow in many ways. I now get to see my own child grow and learn. My precious boy Landry is such a joy in our lives. I love Whitehall Elementary and I cannot wait to begin the new school year!
