+ Accounting for only 7.6% population and over 6%
of labor force in the country, HCMC accounts for:
 + 21-22% of national GDP
 + 30% of national industrial output value
 + 25.1% of national value of goods and services
 + 36.7% of national export turnover
 + 21.0% of total investment.
