The General Council meeting was called to order by President Jessica Willard at 4:00 pm at the PSU
Parliamentary Room. The roll was called by Vice President of Administration, Kelly McCall.

a. Speeches today!
b. Final Slate going out Friday evening to chapter presidents. Elections are next Wednesday!
c. Director of Social Awareness stepped down from her position.
II.
VP of Community Relations, Allyson Liefer (Liefer114@live.missouristate.edu)
a. Keep working on getting some quality service hours! They are due December 5th at 4pm.
b. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc has their “Sigma Week” coming up! November 17 th-23rd Phi Beta
Sigma has a lot of fun and educational events planned including a “Clean the Streets” service event on
November 19th
c. NPHC Stroll Off is Friday November 15th, 7pm in Carrington Theater
III.
VP of Membership Development, Meghan Farrell (Farrell14@live.missouristate.edu)
a. First time doing MSU Creed with Tri Sigma
b. Sisterhood Week next week!!
c. Monday: House Tours start at 7:00pm, Money from The Cup’s sales will go to the Dr. Doman
scholarship. Tuesday: Sister Swap Starts at 6:00pm, Wednesday: Movie starts at 9:00pm in PSU
Theatre (Lincoln), Saturday: Home Football game starts at 1:00pm.
d. Attendance Award: If you attend house tours on Monday, and movie on Wednesday, will be entered
into drawing
e. Sister Swap – all chapters please send me names of two chapter representatives that will be responsible
for greeting the women into your homes
f. Sister Swap locations: Gamma Phi Beta to Delta Zeta, Delta Zeta to Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Chi
Omega to Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Sigma Alpha, to Sigma Sigma Sigma, Sigma Sigma Sigma to
Sigma Kappa, Sigma Kappa to Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Delta Pi to Xi Omicron Iota, Xi Omicron Iota to
Gamma Phi Beta.
g. T-shirts will be here Monday. Pick them up in the office. Wear them on Wednesday!!

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Jordan motioned to vote on bylaw revisions. All chapters voted yes. Revisions are passed.
Bailie moved to vote on total. Alpha Delta Pi seconded. Motion passed.
Molly motioned to vote August 21-24th being the recruitment dates. Delta Zeta seconded. All chapters in
favor. Motion passed.
