You want to sell books and magazines on the internet and post the items to the buyer.
You need to find out the cost of postage to know how much to charge.

Select a book and estimate its weight and size and then measure it accurately to check

wide and 25mm thick it can be sent as a ‘’large
letter’’.
It should also weigh 750g or less eg. A4 documents,
CD’s, magazines
Packet
If your item is more than 353mm long, 250mm wide,
25mm thick or weighs more than 750g it is sent as a
‘’packet’’ eg. Posters, large books, gifts
