Hong Kong Attainment Tests (HKAT) Setup Score Input Form Score Maintenance Score Entry Status Allocation (S1) Score Extraction Record Transfer Export Import Reset Process Incoming Data Prepare Outgoing Data Confirmed Outgoing Data Report Data Communication Receive HKAT TEST INFO file, includes information about test level, subject, etc. for current year, from CDS and successfully import the data. User can select different score input methods (Sectional / Total) for the school year and school level. In order to send raw score to EDB via CDS, the method of “Input Sectional Scores” should be chosen. Switching from “Sectional” to “Total” will lead to removal of all raw sectional scores. The “Grade Conversion Table” is used for HKAT’s reports printing. Print out a score input form for a selected school year, level, session and class to record the scores. User can maintain the HKAT scores by student per subject. According to the method chosen in “Setup”, user can input either sectional scores or total scores. User can modify scores of all or some selected students based on the sampling criteria e.g. day of birth. User can i) input scores; ii) input absence status; and iii) leave the score box empty (treated as incomplete score entry in the Score Entry Status). User can find out which classes the subject raw scores have not been completed yet. Provide manual and four automatic ways of assigning classes. User can assign classes to S1 entrants according to their performance in the Pre-S1 test of Chinese, English and Mathematics. To extract sample scores, user must input scores by sectional score. Extract a list of students according to selected day / month of birth per subject. Before Import, student should be first admitted in WebSAMS. Schools can exchange a particular student’s HKAT scores for all subjects when the student is transferred from one school to another. An encrypted zip file is generated for transmission later. When importing HKA Score file, system will try to search a student’s data file according to the STRN. Allow user to list all the students that have HKAT scores imported from other schools and then select a student to reset his/her imported score. User can generate and print HKAT relevant reports. User can trace a student’s marks for up to 6 years. User can transmit data, i.e. test information and normal table, via CDS module. Setup Day / Month of birth for sampled student is included in the test info file and used by the system.* Record Transfer (Import/Export student’s test data) Imported data, which cannot be modified, can be different from school’s own data. Only the common encryption key, which is stored in each school’s database, can encrypt the data exported from other school.
