The current technology curriculum specialist also serves as the ITRC along with the help of the district techs. For the first two years the TCS has been able to “clean up” a lot of old technology and maintain any existing working technology. For the next few years the TCS will begin to work with the teachers to further educate them on technology so they can incorporate this into their daily teaching techniques as smoothly as possible. Future Vision and Direction Three years from now at Webb Middle School, teachers using their laptops on a regular basis to collaborate, create and communicate. Teachers will regularly use their teacher web site and other online tools to keep parents and students informed. Parents will regularly access the online Gradebook and other resources for information about their child. Classrooms will have integrated multimedia systems with document cameras and other interactive tools. All curriculum resources will be available online. Campus Improvement Plan Alignment Our goals this year are for teachers to implement at least one integrated lesson in the Fall and one in the Spring. The technology integration lesson will include elements of the TEKS. Our teachers will become more proficient in the implementation of technology into their daily planning by the end of the second semester. The campus website along with the teacher’s individual websites will be updated by the end of the first semester. This will align with our CIP goal of increasing effective communication with parents and community members.
