The ITRC plans with all the grade level teams to integrate technology into the core curriculum. The students and teachers have lab instruction weekly to apply the lesson plans. The teachers and children have access to the server to continue their work on the projects. The ITRC is also manager of the campus “help desk,” the Webmaster, Gradespeed contact, and trainer for district technology initiatives. The part time technology assistant helps to troubleshoot campus technology issues. If we are unable to manage the hardware concerns, we rely on the district help desk for assistance. Future Vision and Direction We will see our campus teachers using their laptops on a regular basis to collaborate, create, and communicate. We will see our teachers utilizing document cameras in their teaching to provide visual aid and hands on instruction for students. As the multimedia innovation systems are placed into rooms, the teachers will use the technology to enhance teaching and learning. Parents will access the online gradebook and other resources for information about their child.
